This medicine contains the active ingredient Dydrogesterone, so it treats disorders caused by the deficiency or irregularity of female hormones.

How effective is Duphaston 10mg?

Duphaston 10mg Tablet is quite effective in treating various menstrual disorders like painful, irregular periods or painful disorders of the uterus, which results in extreme discomfort. This medicine is also effective in treating female infertility problems and helps reduce the risk of any habitual miscarriages or abortions. You can also take this medicine to help relieve the symptoms of PMS.

What dose should I choose?

The dosage of this medicine depends on the condition you are treating, and the doctor can prescribe the dose and adjust it accordingly.

For the treatment of painful menstruation, the usual dose is 1 tablet twice per day, starting from the 5th day to the 25th day of your cycle.

For the treatment of irregular cycles, the usual dose is 1 tablet twice per day, from the 11th day to the 25th day of your cycle.

To stop bleeding, the usual dose is 1 tablet twice per day for 5-7 days.
