It is used before exercise to prevent breathing problems during exercise (bronchospasm). Montiget 5mg Tablet contains montelukast and belongs to a class of drugs known as Leukotriene receptor antagonists.

What dose should I choose?
For adults (ages 18 years and older), take an oral dosage of 1 Montiget 5mg Tablet twice a day.
For children (ages 12 to 17 years), take an oral dosage of 1 Montiget 5mg Tablet a day.
For children (below 12 years), Montiget 5mg Tablet is not recommended. It is not helpful for people under 12 years.
