Betaloc Zok 100mg Tablet is an antihypertensive drug. It helps lower high blood pressure in patients with hypertension. It may also help in the prevention of migraine headaches. Each tablet of Betaloc Zok 100mg contains the active ingredient Metoprolol, which is a beta-blocker.

How effective is Betaloc Zok 100mg?

Betaloc Zok 100mg Tablet is useful for treating several disorders. Its use is indicated in the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and cardiac arrhythmias. You may use this medication for the prevention of heart attack in recovering patients. It reduces the severity of a heart attack and improves the chances of survival. Betaloc Zok 100mg works by blocking the activity of certain chemicals in the body and decreasing the heart rate, blood pressure, and stress on the heart.

What dose should I choose?

In adults, the usual starting dose is 1 Tablet (100 mg) taken orally once a day. You may increase the dosage depending upon treatment response and tolerability.

This drug is not recommended for use in children.

If you skip a dose by any chance, take it as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it’s almost time for the next one. Do not double the dose.
