Gvia M 50/1000mg Tablet are used for the treatment of high blood sugar in patients with diabetes type 2. This medicine should be used with a proper exercise program for better results. High blood sugar levels for a long period can cause several health issues. High blood sugar is known as hyperglycemia, which can lead to kidney damage, nerve problems, sexual function problems and many others. Gvia M 50/1000mg can prevent these issues.

How effective is Gvia M 50/1000mg?

Gvia M 50/1000mg Tablet contains Sitagliptin and Metformin. Sitagliptin belongs to the class of medications known as DPP-4 or dipeptidyl peptidase-4 medicines.  This drug works by increasing the level of incretins.  The second active ingredient of this medicine is Metformin, which is a biguanide. Metformin works by reducing the amount of sugar produces by the liver. Further, it increases the sensitivity of cells towards insulin.

What dose should I choose?

For adults (18 and above), take 1 tablet of Gvia M 50/1000mg once a day.

Gvia M 50/1000mg Tablet is not recommended for use in children (17 or younger).
