Dosage and Administration

• Standard dose: One 2.5mg tablet taken orally once daily
• Timing: Can be taken with or without food, at approximately the same time each day
• Duration: Determined by the treating oncologist based on cancer stage and treatment protocol (commonly 5 years for adjuvant therapy)

Important: Do not adjust your dose or stop treatment without consulting your oncologist. Femara must only be used under the supervision of a qualified physician.

Precautions and Warnings

• Not for use in premenopausal women or during pregnancy (Category D — can cause fetal harm)
• Should not be used while breastfeeding
• Use with caution in patients with pre-existing osteoporosis or low bone mineral density
• Regular monitoring of cholesterol levels and bone density is recommended during long-term therapy
• Inform your doctor of all other medications, including tamoxifen, hormone therapies, or supplements
• Liver impairment may require dose adjustment under medical guidance
